Chiselbyte ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Trainers' Connect mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our app.

By using Trainers' Connect, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.


1. Information We Collect

Account and profile information

  • Trainers: When you register, we collect username, password, first name, last name, date of birth, gender, email address, mobile number, gym name, gym contact number, and currency preference. We use this to create and manage your account and to provide the service.
  • Clients: If you use the app as a client, we collect and store the information your trainer provides (e.g. name, contact details, health-related notes, fees, and workout data) as needed to deliver the service.

Subscription and payment information

Subscription plans and in-app purchases are processed by Apple (iOS) and Google (Android). We do not store your full payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status (e.g. active plan, renewal date) so we can provide the correct features (e.g. client limits) and restore purchases. Device and app usage

  • We may receive device type, operating system, and app version to support you and improve the app (e.g. compatibility, bug fixes).
  • If you enable push notifications, we use the necessary tokens (e.g. via Firebase/Apple Push Notification service) to send you alerts; we do not use them for advertising.

Data you create in the app

Workout data, client lists, fee records, and any notes or health-related information you or your trainer enter are stored on our servers to provide the service and to sync across your devices.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you.
  • Provide subscription features (e.g. client limits) and restore purchases.
  • Sync your data (clients, workouts, fees) across devices and with our backend.
  • Send push notifications if you have enabled them.
  • Respond to support requests and improve the app (e.g. stability, performance).
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing.


3. Sharing of Information

We may share information only as follows:

  • Service providers: We use a backend server to store and process your data, and RevenueCat for subscription management. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide the service.
  • Apple and Google: Payment and subscription transactions are subject to Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.
  • Legal: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

4. Data Retention and Security

  • We retain your account and app data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.
  • We use industry-standard measures (e.g. encryption in transit, secure storage, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Object or restrict certain processing.
  • Portability of your data in a structured format where technically feasible.

Your data may be stored or processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g. contracts, standard contractual clauses) where required by law.
